AMD RADEON R9 295X2 DRIVER
Benchmark performance Okay, enough about the ports and specs. Just how fast is this card? The R9 X2 proved to be much faster than AMD Radeon R9 295X2 combination at by resolution, but only slightly faster at a resolution of by But talk about paying to play: If anything, two discrete cards are often slightly faster—AMD and Nvidia have historically run these cards at a slightly lower clock speed to offset the heat problems intrinsic to running two high-powered GPUs in a single card.
While that's not enough to make a measurable difference in benchmark tests, the company is clearly trying to send a message. More important than the clock speed tap, however, is the enormous improvement to the GPU's operating AMD Radeon R9 295X2 and noise level. Instead of a conventional radiator block and fan, it uses a liquid-cooled Asetek system with a separate cooling block for each GPU. The radiator block is designed AMD Radeon R9 295X2 the fan mount at the top of almost all tower cases; AMD's reference card comes with a single mm fan mounted behind the radiator and blowing air across it and out of the case. This card I beleive is an awesome piece of hardware but lacks hdmi 2.
Come on AMD, please address this dp adapter issue for those of us that have 4k tvs!! Surely someone can come up with a resolve to get us past 30hz to 60hz for gaming!!!!

This is opportune insofar as the prices of 4K screens are falling quickly. So knowing that the R9 X can become hot and bothered and consume significant watts, how has AMD shoehorned two premium GPUs AMD Radeon R9 295X2 make no compromise on frequency? The usual trick is to be conservative on speeds and hand-pick GPUs that run with low voltage.
This, however, is a no-holds-barred card whose performance potential dwarfs any other concern. This is why it's specified with a W TDP.
